New service for GDEP clients - I am now a Justice of the Peace!

Updated: Aug 27, 2019

I can witness signatures when you are doing your advance planning as I am now a NSW JP. Contact me for further information about my mobile JP services for clients.

Today I was sworn in at my local courthouse as a JP for NSW, very exciting for me and reassuring for my clients as the pressure to travel to a Justice of the Peace to have signatures witnessed has now been relieved. I come to you!

Whether we are planning your Advance Health Care Directive (it is always a good idea to have a JP and your GP sign off on this document), or you need a JP's signature for other documents, I am now able to come to your home, hospital bed, or nursing home so that you do not need to concern yourself with organising travel and/or support to meet with someone to have your administration needs met.

As per the NSW Government Justice site, this is what a JP can do:

"The primary functions of a NSW JP are to:

  • witness a person making a statutory declaration

  • witness a person making an affidavit

  • certify that a copy of an original document is a true and accurate copy."

Are you wanting to ensure that all your paperwork is up to date, finalised and correct? Please do not hesitate to contact me, I am an End Of Life Consultant and Doula who offers advance planning, advocacy, and JP services.

Let's talk.
